Fimerse vs Lunch Money

A Lunch Money alternative for people who would rather not connect their bank.

Lunch Money is the closest neighbour Fimerse has: multi-currency, worldwide, happy with manual entry. The difference is how money gets in. Lunch Money syncs banks where it can and imports CSV; Fimerse reads the statement itself, PDF or photo included, and never asks for a bank login.

Where each one is stronger.

  • A track record: it has been around a long time.

Where Fimerse is different

  • No bank login ever, by design rather than by option.
  • A native iPhone app alongside the web app.

Which one

Pick the one that fits how you actually bank.

Pick Lunch Money if

your bank is covered by its sync partners, you want an API, or you value a long-established product over a new one.

Pick Fimerse if

your bank only gives you a PDF, you want the statement read for you, or you want a native phone app and no bank credentials anywhere.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does Fimerse have an API like Lunch Money?
Not yet. You can export everything to CSV at any time, and deleting your account is one click.
Can I import my Lunch Money data?
Yes. Export your transactions as CSV and import the file. Each account keeps its own currency.
Why no bank sync at all?
Because holding bank credentials is the one thing a finance app can get catastrophically wrong, and because sync coverage ends at borders. Reading statements works for every bank in the world.
